Terms of Service

ParkerHost agrees, upon payment, to provide you with web hosting facilities on a month by month/yearly basis. We will not ask you to advertise for ParkerHost on your website in any way. You are allowed to use the service for any sort of commercial enterprise or personal website (see notes below on unacceptable content/use).

All services which we, ParkerHost, provide to you may be used for lawful purposes only. You are not allowed to use the services provided to you for the transmission or presentation of information, data or visual/sound files which may be in violation of any United Kingdom laws. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ParkerHost from any claims resulting from the use of the services offered to you which damages yourself, ourselves or any other third party.

The following are examples of non acceptable contents (or links going to/coming from these types of sites:-

  • Pirated software (including software you do not have the right to sell/give away)
  • Hacking programs or archives
  • Illegal sound/video files
  • Spamming software
  • Proxys (including links to proxy websites)
  • Any type of content which infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Violation of indecency and obscenity laws which can result in criminal penalties.
  • Any sort of content (including text, sound (voice/music) and video) which is defamatory and which could result in civil liability for the defamer.

ParkeHost do not allow some background running programs. These are often IRC related programs such as bouncers and bots.

ParkerHost reserves the right to refuse or cancel your service at any time. Violation of any of ParkerHost 'Terms and Conditions' may result in a warning, suspension or closure of your account. Local law enforcement authorities may also be contacted in serious breaches of our 'Terms and Conditions'. If an account(s) which has been terminated due to policy violation(s) you will not be refunded any monies paid.

After termination of your service(s), any remaining time for your domain name will be passed back to you unless you have violated our 'Terms and Conditions'.

You must not use emails created using the services provided by ParkerHost for the transmission of spam or anything of a similar nature (including unsolicited email messages). Your domain name may not be referenced as the originator or 'reply to' address. This includes any sort of spam messages sent from another hosting company which then re-directs to ParkerhHost's servers.

If you have been found sending unsolicited emails (spams) ParkerHost reserves the right to disable your domain name without warning. This includes your email address. Under normal circumstances we will contact you first.

Under no circumstances will you undermine, slander, liable or cause harm to ParkerHost or its employees. If we have evidence of such a violation we will immediately terminate (without refund) your domain name(s), web space(s) and email account(s).

For payments on your account, we accept Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards through PayPal. ParkerHost invoices through the email system and can send invoices through the post upon request.

You can cancel your account at any time and receive a full refund (excluding any PayPal fees and domain name registration fees incurred) if cancelled within out thirty (30) day money back guarantee period. You do not need to provide a reason for cancellation. This is for new accounts only. Refunds are not available if the account has violated our 'Terms and Conditions'.

If after the thirty (30) day guarantee period you wish to cancel your account, you will not receive any refund of any money paid to ParkerHost.

You can cancel up to the day when you are due to make your next payment (whether it be every monthly or yearly). Cancellation can take immediate effect or on a chosen date. The chosen date must be within your payment cycle.

No refunds are available on SSL Certificates, domain registrations and transfers or dedicated server.

When payment is next due you will receive an invoice via email with the option to extend either for a month or year. An account is deemed 'late' when it has not been paid by midnight on the due date. If your account has not been paid by the due date you will receive a reminder via email and have a seven (7) day grace period. If after this seven day grace period your account has not been settled a $10 fee will be added and your account suspended. If your account is suspended your web site (including emails) will not work until your account is brought back into credit. After a period of one (1) month after nonpayment your account will be deactivated and a further $15 will be added to your account if you wish to have it reactivated.

ParkerHost will not be responsible for any damages you may suffer. We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied for services we provide. This includes loss of data resulting from our services we provide. ParkerHost makes a 99.9% uptime guarantee. You will be responsible for making backups of your web site and any additional data/reports it produces.

Failure to comply with any of our terms & conditions will result in grounds for immediate account deactivation.

ParkerHost reserves the right to change, edit, or update the policies contained in this document, along with the content on our website at any time for any reason without notice.
